Jan 02 SOWETO TOWNSHIP and APARTHEID MUSEUM            (BLD)

  • Today we take you through the streets of the sprawling township of Soweto, scene of the tragic riots of 1976. Despite crowded, chaotic conditions, there’s a tangible sense of community in these neighborhoods, which the ordered, walled suburbs lack.  Few who venture into this other Johannesburg are unmoved by what they witness. Lunch at Sakhumzi’s restaurant

  • Apartheid museum

  • Apartheid was dismantled more than a decade ago but its horror lives on, in a stark white building in Johannesburg. This inspiring journey from the dark days of "whites only" privilege, through to Nelson Mandela's historic release, is one you're unlikely to forget in a hurry.

  • Accommodation: Vic Falls Safari Lodge  (2 Nights) (PACKAGE B)

Jan 04 GUIDED TOUR OF VICTORIA FALLS (BD) (PACKAGE B)

  • When Doctor David Livingstone first saw the Falls in November 1865 he was in the company of two local tribesmen who showed him this Mighty Wonder of the World. This site today is a world heritage site with the largest curtain of falling water on the planet, also known as “The Smoke that Thunders” (Mosi-oa-Tunya). The entire width of the fall is 1 700m, so some walking is expected on this trip. Clients get the same feeling as one of our professional guides take them on this guided tour to see all the best viewpoints over these spectacular waterfalls.

  • Your afternoon is at leisure to relax.

A feast of nightly entertainment incorporates Amakwezi traditional dancers, a local story teller and a witch doctor.  The Boma is a celebration of the continents tastes, vibrant song, dance & time-honored customs, so prepare yourself for a nights feast of fabulous food and cultural entertainment.
